This page explains what information the Subulul Huda app collects, and how it is used. We built this app to make Islamic lessons and sermons easy to browse and listen to, and we collect as little personal information as possible.
You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to browse, stream, or download lessons in the app. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and the app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
When you download a lesson for offline listening, the audio file is saved directly on your device's storage. This stays under your control — you can delete it at any time from within the app or your device's storage settings. We do not have access to your device's storage beyond what the app itself saves there.
Like virtually all web services, our server automatically records standard technical request logs (such as IP address and timestamp) when the app communicates with it, for security and operational purposes (for example, detecting abuse). These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are not shared with third parties.
A small number of content administrators (branch/mosque staff) use a username and password to log in and manage lessons, series, and resources published in the app. These credentials are stored securely and are not accessible to general app users.
Audio and document files are served from our own infrastructure. We do not share any information with third-party advertising or analytics companies.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, since no account or personal data is required to use it.
